Resilience in dry and cold conditions
In this experiment in common beans, carried out at the University of Hohenheim, Germany, we tested the effect of increasing concentrations of Procote Optimize on the growth of lateral roots, known to be the main ones responsible for nutrient absorption. More roots mean more soil area explored by the plants, better ability to resist dry conditions and better nutrient uptake.
Accelerated crop establishment
In this trial, an 11-15-15 NPK was coated with 3 L/tonne of Procote Optimize, and applied as a starter in wheat. Better growth of the treated plants (roots and shoots) was observed.
