Storage of YaraVita Products

Pallets of YaraVita fertilizer should be stored in racking. Where racking is not possible, follow the pallet stacking guidelines. Certain combinations of pallets may be double stacked.

Unloading YaraVita fertilizers

Use a fork-lift truck or pallet truck when unloading the YaraVita fertilizer. Make sure that the equipment can handle the heaviest pallet on the load. Avoid breaking down pallets by hand to unload incoming deliveries. Make sure that the protective shrink wrapping is not damaged during unloading. Do not leave pallets outside after unloading.

YaraVita fertilizer types with different storage capabilities

YaraVita fertilizers are finished products designed from the start with crop nutrition in mind. There are YaraVita products for application as foliar sprays, uptake by the roots by fertigation or in soilless systems. There is also a range of formulations for seed treatment. The range includes soluble powders, liquids and suspension products.

Liquids

Solution (the nutrients are 100% soluble in water)

  • Clear, free flowing liquids that mix easily with water to give clear solutions.
  • All nutrients are present in a fully soluble form.

Suspensions (most of the nutrients don’t dissolve fully in water)

  • Opaque, pourable liquids that can be readily dispersed into water to form cloudy or milky suspensions.
  • Contain most of their nutrients in the form of tiny micronized particles, only partially soluble in water.
  • Formulated so that the nutrient particles resist the effect of gravity which tries to make them settle out.

Powders

   Soluble

  • Contain all their nutrients in a fully water soluble form.
  • Will dissolve completely when stirred into water to give a clear solution.

   Wettable

  • Disperse in water to form cloudy or milky suspensions.
  • Contain most of their nutrients in the form of tiny micronized particles, only partially soluble in water.
