Yara is a global chemical company that has all the advantages of being both new and yet firmly established at the same time.

Its businesses and market presence go back more than a century, but it was spun off as a newly independent company from the large Norwegian industrial firm Norsk Hydro just a few years ago.

Yara’s name stems from the Old Norse word for “a good year” characterized by a good harvest. We like to think our co-workers are in line for many good years indeed.
